Dodgie Dator is a Winnipeg based artist, specializing in various mediums.

A multi-award winning jewellery designer by trade  favoring pearls in his creations along with blends of colored diamonds and  exotic gemstones. A three time Manitoba Jewellers Association award recipient, his visions start using just plain paper and pencil, where most  designers use software. It's from these sketches that one of a kind pieces are realized. Even the most sophisticated software can't represent it as how he envisions it. His sheer passion and appreciation of art derives such uncompromised designs that some may say radical but highly praised  by his clients.

A contributor to the local tourism campaign through Destination Winnipeg's photo contest, a few of his images has been published for different tourism materials and other Winnipeg articles. To be recognized and have his work published along side seasoned professionals in  Winnipeg is truly rewarding for the artist, specially in his early stage in this artform.  With his preference of night and low light photography he presents the scenes with his own technique, flares that most photographer considers as imperfections are used to the benefit of the artistry of his photographs. Dodgie also loves landscapes, not just of Winnipeg but some other Canadian destinations, such as the picturesque Banff, Alberta & Victoria, British Columbia and some other key destinations. His black and white photographs are highly regarded by fellow photographers and artists.

Painting has always been the motivating factor in his appreciation of art, with training in oil, pastel, enamel, acrylic, watercolor he still goes for the childish crayons, colored pencils or  charcoal. Also trained in sculptures and layout, worked in theater productions in various capacities, from acting to set coordinating.
